It was awesome! I wish their was more about Ning's dad though. At first I hated Ning's story but I grew to be really interested in it. Now, the whole brothel theme {for about half of the book} can be a bit... yeah. But it really opens your eyes to these people and really realise that the prostetutes aren't all just doing it for fun. Recommend this book to anyone who's mature enough to read it.

How can you not LOVE Arthur?! This book was a great lead in to problem-solution writing for my 1st graders. The students were able to relate to Arthur and his struggles with writing a story that he felt was amazing. It was funny asking my students what their likes and dislikes were of writing. The responses were priceless! Once I was done with the read aloud, the students made a list of problems they have at school and problem they have at home. Then, they chose one to write about. They had to write what their problem was, why it was a problem, and how they could solve it. Fun lesson and read!!

I expected a lot of this book based on its reputation as one of the best wrestling autobiographies - maybe expected too much! The book was very entertaining, was written with a lot of honesty and a lot of humour. I really enjoyed the little anecdotes from around the ring, and the story about how Mick tried to make it in the wrestling world was thoroughly compelling. I have to admit it did not completely live up to my expectations having previously read Bret Hart's (more emotionally engaging) and Chris Jericho's (funnier) autobiographies, and I ended up skipping the lengthier descriptions of his matches and promos - still a very enjoyable read though.
