As much as I like Taleb's writings, this one comes off as a bit of a vanity piece. The repetition of style, content, and concepts would be ok in much smaller doses, like sprinkled through a chapter of a book, but a whole book of just aphorisms (even one as thin on this one) becomes tiring quickly, especially if you've read his books. Not that there isn't the occasional fun one in there, but one gets the impression that only a Taleb groupie would really like this book.
