Message in a Bottle was kinda predictable for me though I told myself that it wouldn't end like that, that my notion or thinking is wrong, that the end would be unexpected, unprecedented and such. This is a nice book, if you want to cry and be touched. After all, Nicholas Sparks is the master of writing great romance and tearjerker novels, so if you just want to cry and fall in love, fall in love and cry, just read this.

This isn't one of Grisham's best works, but I still enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed with the ending.

Ali Vincent's "Biggest Loser" memoir, Believe It, Be It, was in equal parts fun and inspiring. I like watching the show but I did not watch the season Ali won, so while I was somewhat familiar with her as a past winner, I didn't know anything about her personal journey. But I do now! Ali shares the details of her personal experience, from gaining weight to making the lifestyle change necessary for her to win the show and keep the weight off. She fills you in on unseen details of life in the "Biggest Loser" house - the game play and strategizing, the "aha!" moments, and the relationships the contestants develop with the trainers and each other. I particularly loved the anecdote Ali shared about her flight with Jillian Michaels to New York to appear on the "Today Show" after winning "The Biggest Loser." But I'm not going to spoil it! Ali ends the book with inspiring words for anyone who wants to set a goal and pursue it. I'm not normally one for "inspiration lit," but I loved reading Ali's first-hand account of her journey to health.
