I was surprised by how much I got into the study series. It started as the usual 'ho hum' fantasy book but quickly crossed into the releams of wonderful. Because the four books (well, 3 and a short story) ran seamlessly together it did feel like one book. However I couldn't give it full marks as the last 3rd dragged in comparison to the start. It lost it's pace somewhere. Still lovely, if you're up for a light fantasy romance.
