Overall, I liked this book a lot. It's one that I feel I can recommend to anyone. It's a light mystery that kept me interested but one that I could put down at any moment if I needed to. I did feel she used the words "bric a brac" a few too many times in the first 1/4 of the book. There's got to be another word she can use! But then she doesn't use it at all after that, so I guess she started using her thesaurus. Also, there was at least one mystery in the story line that wasn't addressed. Much of the questions I had throughout were tied up nicely at the end, but the weird, creepy brother/uncle/great uncle/great great uncle is never addressed. Why did his sister suddenly run away? Was it because of him? What did he do? My imagination is making it worse than it probably is!
