everyone always says to read this book. "this is a touching story!" well i finally read it and i also agree. Anne frank is a brave girl. she is able to hide aways from the Germany's while also still thinking about what girls her age are usually thinking. she is hidden away with her family in her father's friends house. imagine the courage of one person to risk his family to protect another family. Anne frank is born during the years of the holocaust. these are the years that the Nazis are killing mostly jews and throwing them in concentration camps. but even though most of the victims are jew, they now also kill anyone who does not have blonde hair and blue eyes and is white. almost like a genocide to try and get rid of anyone who does not fit what they want them to look like. in all Anne is captured and dies of either a sickness or either being starved. in the end her diary shows what she was thinking during these years and also what she wishes would happen. only 1 family member survived. a touching and highly recommended book!!!!!!!!
