This book was very unique and I felt the hunger games so cruel. I loved the way that Susanne Collins describes the poverty and suffering. It's the world controld by the Capital. It feels so helpless, but yet some hope because of a 16 year old girl named Katniss. She volunteers to go to the hunger games to save her sister from going. She is the girl on fire… But she is always second guessing herself. As the hunger games progress she is left with only her hunting skills and her hunger to survive.
