Kristina thinks she can keep control over her addictions, and with her new baby, she's more determined than ever, but can she really fight against the call of the "monster?" In the second book of Ellen Hopkins's three books series, Glass, continues the story of Kristina, a used to be honor student who became addicted to meth. I love the way Hopkins writes, (free and fully in verse). This book isn't my favorite of her books, but it is indeed a good one. You can feel the struggle and emotions that Kristina goes through as the book progresses, and you forget, you're reading verse.
