If you want to get a taste of what it's like to be Cuban, then read this book. Eire is a fantastic writer and his style grabs you and doesn't let go. You really feel like you are with him during his odd childhood in Cuban and during his difficult transition to the United States. I keep looking for Cuba-shaped clouds...
