After reading some very stressful, fast-paced books, I was looking for something that I could just relax and read. Although the topics of murder, cover-ups, and immoral pharmaceutical companies can make for stressful moments, I enjoyed the slower pace of this book. I thought the author did a great job in developing each character so that you could really see them from many angles, including their internal voice and motivation. This makes it much harder to pass judgement on some of the characters, and you start to see the complexity of the problem. I couldn't decide between 3 and 4 stars on this one... I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. It was a good read, a little slow in parts, jumping from one topic to another made some parts confusing, but overall it was enjoyable if you just relax and let the author take you where he wants to go.
