If you loved this one, which I don't see how anyone could not, then you should definitely read "Straight Man." It is perfect for any teacher, anyone facing middle age, or anyone even remotely connected to the world of academia. Funny and witty and sarcastic and sad. I have read all of Richard Russo's work and this is tied for first place with "Empire Falls."
