What in the world was this? I didn't get it. It was... Strangely written. To put it kindly.

Coover is truly brilliant, truly a figurehead in post-modernism, avant garde writing, hypertext. There's a deck of cards story in here that can be shuffled and read in any order. A suburban jigsaw puzzle that kind of blows my mind. Beautiful puns, parables, comic-book inspired stories. His linguistic appropriations are almost unmatched ("The presidents are come!") I truly fell small after reading his work.

Loved this book till the last 50 or so pages!
