This was a most unusable book to put it lightly. Certainly not written for the faint of heart, Ms Roach bring her story "to life" of what happens to our corporal bodies when we die. It is interesting and gruesome as she explores various topics that deal with the dead. Of course if you have ideas in mind for your body when you are deceased, you can find the various options one can have to its disposal. Seriously, though, the topic of organ donation is covered well and one in which I find myself interested in. The book explores the technology involved (although somewhat dated) in transplant surgery. Even Dr Oz makes an appearance as a heart transplant doctor. The author tries to handle this topic in a witty manner which at times succeeds but at others times it fell flat. The author did put quite a bit of research in writing this book. She traveled quite a bit in providing up to date research and development. From China to Sweden to America she explores the way in which cultures did and do handle human remains. She also investigates the way in which people investigate death from plane and automobile crashes. The safety issues that are helped along by human cadavers was quite surprising. I did like this book, although I can certainly see why others would not. So if you are at all interested in what might be your options when your spirit and your body are no longer together this might be the book to read.

This was certainly not a "pleasure read" Very informative but ultimately will become outdated in a year or two. The BPO/ Strategic sourcing space is changing too quickly...
