I am debating my shelf between a 3 or a 4 star <- The second book of The Dark Ink Chronicles, “Everdark” by Elle Jasper continues the story of Riley a tatoo artists beeing attacked from both those Romania vampires Valerian and Victorian. The results of this attack if Rilley to have both in her DND the stigoi blood and the results for her and the people arround her are become deadly because not only She has a connection with one of the brother Victorian, causing problems with her relationship with Elli, but also because She seem to have a ''connection'' with the new killings it started to the town since she experience them through the killer eyes! No dont get me wrong i really loved the first one and I really do like the second book as well. It was just way different from the first and what i expected really. Doesnt mean it was bad it was just different. The second book had more more action. New vampire introduced to us and i got to say.. I was really anger and jumped from my sit reading all those paced full action pages (beside i love Fight Club movie who doesnt anyway?) The details Elle putting once more is very interesting and very vivid. I imagine i was there seeing with my own eyes which it didnt get me tired at all (beside i have used to it from the first book) Elle did an awesome job writing about the relationship between Elle and Victorian. I have ended up in a clue if he is dangerous or not if he really cares for Rilley or he simply using as everyone say. The one major dissapointment to me was Riley and Elli relationship. Yeaaaah we do lots of steamy and hot and erotic scenes between them. But othen than that we had nothing.. We didnt had the romance we sense from the first book.. All we got was those interested - in one hand but pointless in the other erotic scenes Elli to run like a cute puppy behind Riley to save her (seriously why?) Riley to be unable to express her feelings to him but instead we see her more drowing into Victorian... Seriously? The ending made my heart go faster for a bit and i am glad there was a tiny teaser from the 3rd book because seriously i would hang around wondering what on earth is happening after this cliff..
