Kevin Hearne impresses me again! Damn I loved this book! It’s so funny and interesting. I was especially stoked about this book because we see a little more of Atticus’s past and what he was doing during World War II. I won’t say what, but know that it made me happy. Sometimes sequels aren’t as good as the first, but that was not the case! This one was better because you get to jump right into the story. There are enough details about the first book so it can jog your memory but it’s not bogged down by it. My favorite part is not Atticus or his awesome magic but the awesome supporting characters and how Atticus interacts with them. Hands down Oberon is the best! I laugh at almost everything he says. The widow is great too. What am I talking about, they are all great! I would change nothing about this book.
