T.V. networks competing to broadcast the crucifixion. The time travel element is not satisfactorily explained, but it’s all so delightfully perverse and funny that you don’t really care.

It is a great book - for all ages. I read it in school - but intend to read it a again. The children's relationship with their father - and their father's upstanding principles - are two beautiful themes of this book. I also saw the movie - with Gregory Peck - it was wonderful too.
