Uuuuh, kayak yang ga niat bikin buku aja sih! Ga diedit dulu apa ya naskahnya. Banyak banget salah ketik... kalimat yang ga lengkap... kalimat yang aneh...

I appreciate the purpose of this novel, in the hopes of telling the young girls who read this book that they are beautiful no matter what and that what's on the inside counts. I also appreciate that attempts were made at distributing knowledge about how the rainforests are being cut down and made infertile just for cheaper beef patties, about how silly it was to go to war against each other over things like skin color (although that isn't the real reason--religion is), and about how we are so dependent upon the consumption of oil and that there are other alternative energy sources out there for our use. I did still, however, give this book just two stars because I didn't appreciate how the author went about telling these things. A valiant effort, I suppose, but the words didn't come naturally, the idea behind the novel seeming a little forced. If that makes any sense? It didn't feel like it could be a real story even in the setting of a futuristic dystopia.
