Poison Study makes it to my favorite shelf! This book is about a girl named Yelena who's convicted for murder. But on the day of her execution she's given another chance to live, but only if she becomes the new "food taster". Which means she has to test the commander's (who's like the king) food for poison, and in order to do so must first study all these poisons. And to add to the list of things that can kill her, there's a bunch of people after because unfortunately she was found guilty for killing someone important. There's a whole bunch more that happens in this book so if I say anymore I'll spoil something. This book gets a thumbs up for: -kick but female lead -awesome story line - writing that grabs you from the start - plot that makes you not want to put the book down until your done
