Loved it. Well-deserving of the Newbery. It was amusing, mysterious, and touching all at the same time. I loved the way it was written: a young girl moving back to the town where her father (something of a hobo) had lived as a young man. The story switches back and forth between her story and her father's as she's discovering more about him. All in all, fabulous book. It's one I'm going to buy!

I loved this book!!!! I loved the take on how Ms. Whitman decided to put this book as. I loved how the 'myths' of Persophone(if that is how you spell it) were wrong. And how she fell in love with with Hades. It was pretty interesting.
