Obedience has a great and powerful beginning, and is definitely a page-turner throughout the middle. It is the end that leaves much to be desired. The idea behind this book is unique, and the reviews were positive, so I was excited to read a book where I couldn't figure out the ending. I certainly didn't. But that is only because the series of events that lead up to the climax are so farfetched that no one in her right mind could figure out the conclusion. If you want an easy beach read, this is your book. If you want excellent writing and a well-developed plot, look elsewhere.

This is probably THE best book I have EVER read! Everybody go out and buy it now! :o)
