It started out hilarious and kind of fizzled. There were a surprising number of recipes and ideas I'd actually like to try: making a fake cake, making jewelry out of carrots, potatoes, pasta, and nail polish, and making some hot fruit. Amy Sedaris is adorable. It's really more of a funny hospitality book than a funny book about hospitality. You know?

I loved it! I love how the characters are interwoven, but not in a stupid, predictable way. At least I I didn't think so. A romance story, but also a story of friendship. This is Sarah Addison Allen's 2nd book that I read, and I really loved it. Should be a book club book!
