A perfect example of the way life works. Sometimes you can have everything and it's never enough. Sometimes you have little but you fight hard and end up happy. Funny how life works.

What can I say about this book? The cover attracted me, the premise intrigued me and I finally started it before meeting the author at ALA. It struck me as a cross between Lord of the Flies and Camus' The Stranger and very literary. I enjoyed it, but I was also slightly disturbed by it. Such is all great literature, no?
