Oh, Bittman....how I love you! :) Mark Bittman is a food writer for NY Times and guest food host on the Today show. He's also part of Batali's entourage in the PBS series Spain: On the Road Again. I love this book because it really is simple to make lots of these foods...the appetizers are all small bites like olives, seasoned nuts or cheese straws....the only things he claims you need at a cocktail party or before food is served.
