The main character is in a coma and trying to understand the meaning of life and of the universe - so not a lot of action - but plenty to think about.

Absolutely loved this book! Growing up in upstate New York during this era, I was aware of all that was happening, as well as the life style of the people on this story. Being 'aware' of it and reading what it was actually like for the people living it, are 2 very different things. Very enlightening and emotion stirring. Excellent writing and reading. I would dare to hope for a sequel.
