Philippa Gregory is one of my favorite writers of all time! I plan to read very many books of Philippa's in the near future. The Wideacre trilogy is extremely shrewd, to say the least. But it is fantastic and memorable, a story of desperation and madness. Was Beatrice truly mad, though? Or was she just a different sort of feminist character, a more daring and outrageous Elizabeth Bennet?
