ŞİMDİ kadar oturup bazı çalışmalarını okudum. Bu Bill Moyers ile bir sohbet koleksiyonu ve inanılmaz. Campbell farklı kültürlerden aşka, kahramanın yolculuğuna, toplumsal rollerine vb. Hitap eden pek çok hikaye anlatıyor, bana okumam için bir milyon şey daha verildi. Son derece, çok, tavsiye !! İyi kitap dizisi devam ediyor ...

Çeviri sürecinde neyin stilistik ve neyin kaybedildiğini söyleyemem. Bunu sevdim. Kasten garip olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Ancak, bir kısmı benimle bir bilgisayar konuşuyormuş gibi görünüyordu.

I expected a lot of this book based on its reputation as one of the best wrestling autobiographies - maybe expected too much! The book was very entertaining, was written with a lot of honesty and a lot of humour. I really enjoyed the little anecdotes from around the ring, and the story about how Mick tried to make it in the wrestling world was thoroughly compelling. I have to admit it did not completely live up to my expectations having previously read Bret Hart's (more emotionally engaging) and Chris Jericho's (funnier) autobiographies, and I ended up skipping the lengthier descriptions of his matches and promos - still a very enjoyable read though.

This book started off very slow. I found the beginning boring and I almost stopped reading. My friends urged me to keep going. Once I got half way through the book I couldn't put it down. It's a murder mystery with an ending that surprised me. The plot is inteligent and the book is extremly well written. I would recommend this book to all interested in a Mystery/Drama.

I think I'm learning something about Turkey and its politics... but there are probably better ways to do that. Don't know yet what I think -- I only read it in bits and pieces, on the way to work or before falling asleep over it in bed... we'll see... I realize that many people think this is a great book. For me, it was only ok -- the protagonist's quest for "happiness" was very irritating to me, and he really didn't interest me all that much. But maybe it was my mood!
