This book was ok but it wasn't for me. I picked it up expecting a clever fairy-tale retelling. Instead, I found an action-packed book about teenagers fighting werewolves. There were bizarre undertones about men being sexual predators who can't resist teenage girls and a sweet but age-inappropriate romance. I'm sure that there is a certain type of teenage girl who will find this particular brand of empowerment exciting. It wasn't what I was looking for.
