** spoiler alert ** I really enjoyed reading this latest book by Jodi Picoult...although it was sometimes hard to switch between the various "voices" all writing in first person. It kept my attention and was hard to put down at times. Having said that....it was so much like "My Sister's Keeper," just a different disease. It was how this disease affected everyone around Willow. And I didn't "get" how Charlotte won the trial/settlement after Amelia got on the stand and said what she did. And then, I didn't understand why the family never cashed the check. Guilt? So, what was the purpose of the lawsuit??? And I predicted that Willow was going to die in the end...just a feeling I had through the whole book. They were going to win, they were going to become a family again, but it was all going to be for naught. It was just kind of........weird. And sure didn't make me feel good after reading it, but then again, several of Picoult's books are like that.
