It's been a while since I read this book. It was the first of it's kind (real-life action, human endurance) that I had read. The story was amazing and tragic. It's hard to give a good review of the book since I have read other accounts of the 1996 Everest season and believe Krakauer to be too critical of certain people in his book (Anatoli Boukreev). But I definitely remember enjoying the book when I read it and still give it four stars.
