I would give this 100 stars if I could. It made me laugh out loud, was heartbreaking, and brought back so many memories and emotions that I almost stopped reading because I didn't want it to end. If you are an 80's fan and a gamer and enjoy the origimal D&D pencil paper type RPGs...you know the original MMOs...you'll love it. Its replced Enders Game at the top of my favorite book list.
Realized how good this was after finishing Freedom. But it's another book that doesn't get really good until around page 400.
This book manages a tricky accomplishment: celebrating a young woman's talent, drive, and achievements without downplaying the disadvantages she had just because she wasn't a man. Great art. Love the fabric collages.
