This is one of my favorite books. I couldn't put it down. It made me want to read every book by Steinbeck.

A little boring so far. Finished - meh.

A novel about acceptance and love (albeit a slightly skewed version of love) amongst a family of circus "freaks." Astounding and quite disturbing to read about the things the mother forces upon herself in order to have "acceptable" children. Gives you several reasons to feel good about yourself--even if you do have a tail!

Gorgeous. Absolutely fantastical.
