This is the first Harry Bosch novel and is a must read for all crime fiction afficianados. If you've never read Connelly, I'd suggest starting with this book as it is quite enjoyable to read the Bosch novels in chronological order. Bosch is a fantastic character and Connelly is a great writer. I'll write more about Bosch later but this is a great read.
