The author writes about how yoga changed her life and gives basic information about poses and philosophy and history. It took me a few chapters to get into this book and I did not love it until 2/3 way through. Claire had to grow on me, partially because we are similar people and parenting styles. Ironically, I found it a little annoying to read a book about someone like myself - lol. Our growth varies and I grew to respect Claire when she finally starts writing about her transformation: Her yoga practice improved, she left her home town with her family, and return a "better" her. All-in-all an interesting story about the influence of yoga in an individual life. Om, shanti.
