Where are the black people? I enjoyed reading this one.. just get bored reading about perfect little white people with blue eyes and slender noses and blond hair as main characters. Yet I am used to it.. my life if filled with reading such book and watching them on TV, but I have always known better than to believe the propoganda.. since childhood. such is life in America. Anyway, this book is decent.. a nice, entertaining, quick read.. paced well dropping crumbs along the way to build to its climactic end (and spelled out in case you didn't get it).. I WILL READ THE SEQUEL, of course.. and while I wait I'll look for some good afro-american writers.. i guess there aren't many minority writers so I started reading famous spanish authors.. any colored skin of any form should add more culture to my reading palate (if I were afghanistanian I would be complaining the same thing.. or chinese.. of egypytian.. it's not a black thing; it's simply a minority thing).. so let me know if you know of any good minority writers from any culture... meanwhile I will continue to read my white dominated books.. my Jane austi's, and clive cusslers.. etc. lol
