I liked "Olive Kitteridge", the book. I didn't always like Olive Kitteridge, the person. She was rather gruff, but as the stories progressed I got a sense of why she was the way she was. Definitely worth reading. I'm rereading this for my book club and I find I'm more sympathetic to Olive (the person) the second time around. Still can't say that I actually like her, though.
