I'm surprised that I haven't parked myself in front of a video poker game and re-read this just for the hell of it. A great intro to D. for the faint of heart/short of attention span.

(YA, 2009) Teen tributes from twelve Districts must fight to the death in an arena. Katniss and Peeta, are the District 12 tributes, and the story is told from their perspective, especially Katniss's. Lots of action, violence, and feeling, and an interesting ending. I will read the other two, probably, but not really sure I "liked" this, but it was certainly riveting.

Read for lit theory. This made my brain hurt, in a good way.
