I love love love this book! It was my introduction to Amanda Quick and has been read and reread over and over for the past seventeen-eighteen-ish? years. It's one of my ultimate feel-good comfort reads. *tidal wave of warm fuzzies* Please note, that as I have been reading and rereading this book for so long, I cannot look at it objectively. I have no idea whether or not I would love it if I read it for the first time today. Though I can say that the heroine doesn't irk me as do the heroines of some of my other early OMG-love-keep-forever favorites. Updated January 2016: What few OCR errors there were have been corrected.

Really enjoyed this - good plot, great characters and set in Alaska. I'm looking forward to reading more of the same series.

I liked this book - the story revolves around a woman who meets a young woman during a Weight Watcher's meeting and offers to give this virtual stranger a ride home. During the ride home, they are in an accident which the young woman is killed. This woman had a list of things she wanted to do before she reached the age of 25. The older woman felt guilty about having been the driver of the car that killed the woman and decides to finish the list. Although some of the story line makes you wonder why you would have such items on the list in the first place, you were still engaged with the story line and the path that would ultimately change her life.
