Coraline is a wonderful book, but sometimes I think the author describes things a little too well. Sometimes when he describes things I feel like he is repeating ideas. Coraline is a very determined to save her parents and the ghost children's souls from the "Other Mother" When the Other Mother tries to bribe her with a perfect version of her real life including wonderful foods lots of games and the father she's never had to try and get her to sew buttons on her eyes and once that is done she will be able to feed on Coraline's soul. But Coraline isn't going to let that happen anytime soon.
