The book is a very thorough description of Dobyns undercover operation against the Hells Angels. Similar to the classic, Donnie Brasco (the book, though the movie is decent), Dobyns is very honest about the strain the experience put on him and especially his family. He provides an unvarnished description of the challeneges he faced both from the gang but also internally.
