What I liked more about the actual reading of this was all the allusions. That's right, I read this thing for the footnotes. Don't think I'm an idiot--I understood it fine. The density of his references just bowled me over.

i truely enjoyed this book. One of the few required reading books from high school that I believe should continue to be required!
