Honestly I would give this book 4.5 stars if I could. This is the second book in the Song of Ice and Fire series and it was better than the first book. Although it was a little slow at first (however every fantasy novel I have read has been) it picks up and all the story begins to tie together and it ends with absolute dynamite. I do enjoy the political schemes Martin sets up, however if he added more action this book would be a 5 star. The battle scenes and strategies were very unique and very entertaining. I have decided to wait until books 6 and 7 come out before finishing the series. Really really liked Clash of Kings. Will be difficult to stay away from book 3.
This book is histerical. In my opinion intended for a vacation, (ideally one where an english speaker visits a foreign country), but any type of vacation will do. Clark writes this fiction with the kind of sarcastic undertone that will keep you laughing for hours!
