** spoiler alert ** just found out i won this. will be looking forward to getting it in the mail. thanks goodreads! just started this yesterday. its really good so far. a girl with a bad start, getting herself into trouble through no fault of her own. i can relate to her. i hope she gets a happy ending. im sorry her aunt died before we could know her better, but through her memories you get a idea of her aunt. i dont know if her mother will appear after she deserted her as a young child. enjoying the book so far, thanks good reads! the mother never returned. it was a good book until the end when the boyfriends unknown daughter shows up at his door and thats how it ended. unless this leads to another book i totally dont understand. other than that it was good and i enjoyed it.

This is one of the better goodreads giveaway wins that I have received over the years. Hooray for Michael Lee West for keeping it fun, light and interesting. Very lovable characters and a good tight storyline will keep you smiling throughout. I brought this one to Mexico where, after I had finished it, my companion read it and loved it every bit as much as I did. I left it at the resort in the Mayan Riviera where it will be entertaining travelers from around the globe for a long time.
