I really did like this next book. The heroine is very strong. I brought it down a star because the first hero, Sobehk (from book 1) starts off very smart, determined and dominant, but is later portrayed (at least my interpretation) as much too weak to be an equal in this triad. Khan is portrayed as super Alpha and Fallon is probably stronger and is definitely better equipped than Kahn. The pair overshadow Sobehk too strongly. Just my impressions. The story is very good. The dominance, like the first book, is very strong and at times brutal and demeaning in a way that is supposed to make us squirm. Of course, we squirm in a good way even though we know we should be squirming in a bad way. LOL If you are hoping to meet up with the gang from book 1, it doesn't happen, The only overlap is Sobehk.
This book was an easy enticing read. Overall, i felt that the book had no substance. Ellis failed to convey and lesson through this book. However, while i was discussing this book with a friend, he stressed that it had meaning to those who went to school and then returned home. I will recommend this book to those who are looking for a real page turner.
