Number the stars is about a girl named Annemarie, who is trying to help her Jewish friend escape to Denmark. This is one of my favorite books because it was interesting to learn so much about the holocaust and Judaism from a fictional non-Jewish prospective. I think this is a good book for anyone who is studying the holocaust in school to learn about it on more of a personal level, and for anyone who just wants a good book. I would recommend it the most to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, but it is a great book for anyone.
