Fun, frothy romp - a very well written genre offering

I have finished the first part, "Combray". It is difficult for me to read and follow although I find it very interesting the descrition of the accomodate French society of 19th century. I also find very interesting this kind of narration from souvenirs from his chilhood and the description of all the feelings and things he felt during these days.
