It's facinating to read about people who were famous for one reason or other in their own time, but have been lost to the history books due to changing fads, poor timing, bad luck, progression of different technology, etc. Most of the people featured in these storeies were already forgotten and destitute by the time they died, and the majority of the stories are rather sad. Thanks to Mr. Collins' book, however, these individuals are no longer completely forgotten to history.

Interesting take on the Trojan wars, from a futuristic POV. Am reading it slowly, so haven't a finished opinion yet.

Parts were boring and it's very repetitive but still fun and enjoyable.
