Quite simply, I love this book. I've read 3/4ths of it several times, and the first chapter probably dozens. As for the entire book, I think I've finished it once or twice. Lest you think it's because the ending is terrible, I'll assure you - it's not! I love this ending almost as much as I love the beginning. But right around where Book 3 begins, I start crying and usually can't wade through the tears enough to finish the book. Instead I go back to the first chapter, sigh happily, and pretend the characters remain as happy as they are in the beginning. There's a lot of criticism from other GR readers about this book - it is wordy and long, but I enjoy the meandering way she writes about Henry and Clare. Nonetheless, I'll leave it to better reviewers to defend the ending. I simply love it because it's an amazing love story.

I am pretty sure that this is the one when Jessica uses her best cheerleading kick to escape her kidnapper. I KNEW cheerleading would prove useful!
