This book was filled with suspense and romance and adventure and had me hooked at each turn of the page.

I read this in one sitting overnight...rare for me. It is slow to unfold, but deliberately so, as Smith sets up the academic environment and the key players. Prof. Albo, writing instructor/novelist, husband of smart and beautiful Molly, step-dad to 17 yr old Lucy, and overall cool guy is accused of sexual harassment by two students. We know it's a set-up but the motive is unclear and even his wife and lawyer/friend don't believe him. Life on campus in these times of political correctness can be murder. What ensues had me turning pages rooting for my guy and a "happy ending". Read it as contemporary satire...read it as "noir thriller"...or just read it.
