I listened to the audio book with a friend on a long car trip. This is the first audio book that I completed. Fey's reading of her material was pitch perfect, as if she was giving a small, informal reading to the car. My friend and I laughed at parts and chatted over others. The diversions and lack of overall theme didn't matter, especially when those special sections seemed to make listening easier. She distilled her stories until the most humorous portions were left. I found myself laughing a lot, sympathizing at certain scenarios, and feeling general good will towards another human being throughout.
