I feel like everyone gets this book as they graduate high school. It is way cheesy but kind of a rite of passage.

It was a very good book. It reminded me a lot of the movie Beaches. It had me crying at the end.

I liked this book and the fantasy aspect to the story, but reader beware! There is a steamy sex scene! I was a little surprised actually, but I haven't read much of his stuff, so maybe thats normal for him!
